Bisso Towboat, Inc.

For over 100 years Bisso Towboat Co. has been providing power on the Mississippi. At present, we operate 13 tugs with horsepower ranging from 2400 horse power to 5200 horsepower. Our fleet consists of two z-drive tractor tugs, two triple-screw tugs and nine twin-screw tugs. This is the most powerful and maneuverable fleet of ship-assist tugs on the Mississippi, and each is manned by highly trained and experienced Captains and crews.
